Job Description
Software Architect defining and evolving software architectures for innovative solutions at SysMap Group. Collaborating closely with teams while ensuring quality across all solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Define, maintain, and evolve scalable, secure, and resilient software architectures;
- Provide strategic and technical direction for solutions;
- Establish and disseminate technical standards and architectural best practices;
- Support teams in solution design, integrations, and architectural decisions;
- Ensure end-to-end quality, including performance, security, and maintainability;
- Promote application observability (logs, metrics, and tracing);
- Serve as a technical reference, providing mentorship and support to development teams;
- Collaborate closely with Product, DevOps, SRE, and UX teams;
- Contribute to the evolution of enterprise architecture and technical governance.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of development best practices, such as SOLID, Clean Code, and automated testing;
- Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architecture;
- Proficiency with synchronous and asynchronous communication in distributed systems;
- Experience with messaging and asynchronous processing, applying resilience patterns;
- Knowledge of application security, including authentication, authorization, OAuth2, and JWT;
- Experience with Java (or a similar language);
- Familiarity with SQL databases (PostgreSQL and/or Oracle) and use of Redis;
- Experience in Cloud environments (AWS or GCP);
- Use of Docker for containerizing applications.
