Job Description
Solutions Consultant acting as a trusted advisor during the sales cycle at IFS Copperleaf. Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions in asset management industry.
Responsibilities:
- As a Solutions Consultant, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, collaborating with the sales team, prospects and existing clients to uncover challenges and design compelling solutions using the IFS Copperleaf decision analytics platform.
- This role is key in demonstrating the positive outcomes of our product suite to prospective clients across the region.
- You will need to be comfortable having close dialogue with external stakeholders, including C-level, technical management, and architectural teams to position IFS as the partner of choice for the adoption and enablement of IFS Copperleaf solutions in our core industry verticals.
- Develop industry knowledge to become a trusted advisor and key technology ambassador for our customers and prospects.
- Delivering impactful product demos and executive briefings (virtual and on-site)
- Designing enterprise-level technology solutions
- Providing technical leadership in the sales process
- Engaging with the industry at external events
Requirements:
- You’re an industry expert in one or more of the following industries – Utilities, O&G, Petro- Chemicals, Transportation, Public Sector, Manufacturing
- You have the ability (and track record) of holding meetings with senior executives and influencing outcomes
- You have a genuine interest in our market! We consider ourselves industry experts and our Solutions Consultants continually develop expertise in the asset management domain, decision analytics, the business and technical challenges of our customers’ vertical markets.
- You know how to explain and teach concepts to a variety of stakeholders, and cater your presentation to their abilities and background
- You’re a natural presenter - engaging and dynamic
- You’re consultative, and know to influence, advise, and mediate
- You have a strong team spirit, viewing ultimate success as that of the group, not the individual
- You can think on the fly, dynamically navigating from problem to solution on your feet and in the same breath
- You’re focused on the success of our team, partners and clients.
- 3+ years' experience in one or more of the following attributes; Experience in software pre-sales with a complex product
- Knowledge or strong interest in our business domain; asset management and/or electricity, gas, water, transportation gained from practical experience of working in those industries
- Before becoming a technical sales professional, you may have gained experience in software implementation
- You’re able to get into the technical detail – any previous experience with a programming languages and software development would be a plus such as C# or a similar object-oriented language
- Experience implementing software would be a benefit
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical/engineering field
