Job Description
Strategic Account Manager expanding partnerships with large customers in food ingredients sector at Cargill. Collaborating across teams to meet customer demands and drive margin growth.
Responsibilities:
- Expand strategic partnership with assigned large customers
- Create demand for company products and services by raising company profile with customers in North America
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure defined customer needs are met
- Develop and implement strategy for designated key customers to expand demand, improve margin growth and extend strategic partnership
- Establish trust, mutually beneficial and long term partnership with customers
- Collect insights from the external market to understand competitors and influence trends
- Build and nurture an internal network to deliver optimal solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum requirement of 6 years of food ingredients sales work experience
- Typically reflects 10 years or more of relevant experience
- Strong project management skills
- Experience in understanding customer context, uncovering customer key performance indicators, articulating customer objectives and adding value to partnerships
- Experience in business development in highly competitive, mature markets
- Experience in value-based selling
- Experience selling to Food Manufacturers (CPG’s) is strongly preferred
