Job Description
Student Recruitment Officer helping Robert Gordon University grow student enrolment in India through partnerships and recruitment activities. Collaborating with stakeholders and leading on-ground initiatives to achieve targets.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Regional Manager – South Asia in the successful execution of student recruitment strategies and plans, driving measurable growth in the India market
- Act as the primary representative of Robert Gordon University at in-country events, building strong brand presence and stakeholder engagement
- Lead and actively participate in a wide range of recruitment activities, including agent training, promotional events, student conversion initiatives, information sessions, and timely management of enquiries and agent requests
- Provide actionable market insights through regular, detailed reporting to the Regional Manager, enabling data-driven decision-making
- Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with prospective students, parents, and partner institutions to enhance the overall recruitment experience
- Ensure the seamless and professional delivery of recruitment operations and administrative support activities
- Develop, nurture, and sustain high-value partnerships with agents, university partners, and key stakeholders to drive long-term, sustainable success
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with a strong academic foundation
- Demonstrated track record of delivering exceptional sales performance and consistently meeting or exceeding targets
- Proven experience in student recruitment, adult education, with strong familiarity of the India market
- Strong numerical aptitude combined with sharp analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with fluency in business-level English (both written and spoken)
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within tight and evolving timelines
- Flexible and committed, with a willingness to work evenings and weekends to support recruitment activities both locally and internationally
