Job Description
Account Manager overseeing client relationships and driving regional growth at First Connect Insurance. Engaging with independent agents and providing training to increase production.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients within the assigned region
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders
- Schedule, coordinate, and conduct agent training sessions on both individual and regional levels
- Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets for the region
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and new business development
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute regional strategies
- Conduct regular account reviews to evaluate performance and strengthen relationships
- Use data-driven analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Schedule, coordinate, and lead monthly internal meetings to address agent touch points and carrier updates
- Collect and communicate feedback from training sessions to relevant departments to drive improvements
- Improve agency production by training new agencies and identifying/removing obstacles affecting current production
- Conduct agency marketing visits to appointed agencies to stimulate higher production through on-site training and multi-market solutions
- Complete quarterly carrier evaluations, including production levels and incentive recommendations
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all carrier markets, products, commission structures, and appointment processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of experience marketing P&C insurance, including marketing to Independent Agents
- Experience training and developing agency staff
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to evaluate agency qualifications for appointment and make recommendations for appointment or dismissal
- Experience selling and marketing P&C personal lines and commercial products (homeowners and personal auto experience a plus)
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills for both small and large groups
- Active TDI P&C license required; CPCU and/or CIC designation desirable
- Self-motivated and directed; able to work autonomously while collaborating effectively
- Strong intellectual curiosity and desire to help others solve problems
- Flexible and willing to do what is needed to get great work done
