Job Description

Territory Sales Manager growing accounts and sales for Cornerstone Building Brands’ exterior building products. Managing Denver metro customer relationships, forecasting, promotions, pricing, and territory travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Expand and cultivate existing accounts and establish new accounts to drive sales growth
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and conduct competitive analysis
  • Analyze market segments to identify growth and development opportunities
  • Plan daily sales activities using CRM and a structured call frequency system
  • Conduct sales promotions, educational meetings, and lead generation activities
  • Customize sales presentations to increase customers’ annual sales
  • Recommend pricing changes within established guidelines based on market dynamics and competitive analysis
  • Address customer complaints, investigate issues, and recommend solutions
  • Maintain sales records, customer profiles, and territory/account sales records
  • Travel daily within the Denver metro territory, with potential overnight travel during the week

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of proven direct sales experience, preferably in the building products industry
  • Thorough understanding of the building products industry
  • Sales management experience in dealer, distribution, and/or two-step channel segments
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills
  • General knowledge of major competitive brands within the industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Solid time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • High level of integrity and personal motivation
  • Adaptability and openness to new ways of working
  • Ability to remain resilient and productive during challenges
  • Willingness to adapt to new processes, technologies, and ways of thinking

  • Daily travel within the territory; potential overnight travel during the week
