Job Description

Trust Account Manager at FIS managing collateral and syndicated loan portfolios for institutional investors. Responsibilities include transaction processing, compliance, and client support in financial workflows.

Responsibilities:

  • The Middle Office Team is responsible for maintaining the books and records on behalf of collateral managers who have outsourced their middle office functions
  • Serving as the primary point of contact, the Trust Account Manager oversees the administration of collateral and syndicated loan portfolios
  • This includes managing cash flows, performing reconciliations, settling trades, executing waterfall payments, generating reports, and conducting compliance testing
  • Manage daily transaction processing and reporting activities for assigned outsourced client relationships
  • Provide ongoing support to client institution personnel in routine operations and financial workflows
  • Resolve complex issues through thorough research and effective communication with clients, internal teams, and external partners
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery by executing daily operational tasks with accuracy and timeliness
  • May be responsible for selecting, developing, and evaluating team members to maintain efficient operations
  • May contribute to setting operational goals, developing work plans, and delegating assignments to meet business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or finance, or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience
  • Typically, at least 4 years of financial services industry experience in managing institutional assets, and one or more years of leadership responsibility
  • Proven knowledge and experience in structured finance, with a strong preference for expertise in CLOs/CDOs, syndicated loans, corporate trust securities, and trust system platforms
  • Hands-on experience in key operational areas including cash reconciliations, waterfall calculations, compliance testing, financial transaction processing, data analysis, and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of management, internal teams, and external clients.
