Job Description
Vice President of Strategic Operations driving initiatives for MedZed enhancing member care and reducing healthcare utilization. Collaborating with various teams to improve operational efficiency and member outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Drive initiatives that reduce healthcare utilization while enhancing member care and experience
- Lead the design and implementation of workflows that prioritize member outcomes
- Partner with CFO, Clinical team, and CGO to ensure new initiatives optimize operational efficiency
- Collaborate with all functional areas to identify inefficiencies and implement streamlined workflows
- Support development and delivery of training programs that equip teams with new knowledge and skills
- Leverage internal and external data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance member care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in healthcare administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare management, project management, or a similar role focused on strategic initiatives and cost-reduction in healthcare settings
- Proven ability to align strategic efforts with organizational values
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and decisions
- Experience with healthcare IT systems, Electronic Health Records (EHR), Project Management Workflow systems, etc.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, housing documentation systems, and health plan portals.
