Job Description
Remote Account Executive promoting Grand Canyon University's online programs across California territories. Counseling prospective students and driving inquiries from application through initial classes.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and implement event and activity plans for the assigned territory
- Build awareness of online academic programs in education, healthcare and business
- Drive inquiry generation and develop high-impact territory partnerships
- Deliver informational presentations and conduct calls and emails
- Provide counseling to prospective students, families and partners in person, by phone and by email
- Promote Grand Canyon Education's mission, Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth
- Work independently toward ambitious targets
- Support prospective students through the admissions process from application through completion of their first classes
- Guide students toward successful online learning experiences
Requirements:
- 3+ years of success in outside business development, consultative sales or account management
- Bachelor's degree required
- No delinquent or defaulted federal student loan; if in rehabilitation, credit report must show current payments
- Outstanding time management and prioritization skills
- Clear communication and listening skills, including in-person, written and phone communication
- Self-motivation and drive to succeed
- High emotional intelligence and ability to demonstrate empathy
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, flexible schedule and clean driving record
- Ability to use a personal vehicle and travel extensively within the territory
- Evening and/or weekend availability for some events
- Computer literacy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
- Relevant industry-related professional experience is a bonus
- Experience working with CRM tools is a bonus
