Job Description
Account Executive supporting Grand Canyon University’s online education enrollment across Honolulu and surrounding territories. Building partnerships, generating inquiries, and guiding non-traditional students through admissions.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and implement event/activity plans for the assigned territory
- Build awareness of online academic programs in education, healthcare, and business
- Drive inquiry generation
- Develop high-impact territory partnerships
- Deliver informational presentations, calls, and emails
- Counsel prospective students, families, and partners in person, by phone, and by email
- Promote the GCE mission, Grand Canyon University student success, and institutional growth
- Support prospective students through the admissions process
- Guide students toward successful online learning experiences
- Manage territory work independently while meeting ambitious targets
Requirements:
- 3+ years of success in outside business development, consultative sales, or account management
- Bachelor's degree
- No delinquent or defaulted federal student loan, as verified in a credit report
- If in a rehabilitation program, credit report must show current, non-delinquent payments
- Outstanding time management and prioritization skills
- Clear in-person, written, and phone communication skills
- Well-developed listening skills
- Self-motivation and drive to succeed
- High emotional intelligence and empathy
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation and flexible schedule
- Clean driving record
- Ability to use a personal vehicle
- Evening and/or weekend availability for some events
- Computer literacy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Relevant industry-related professional experience is a bonus
- Experience working with CRM tools is a bonus
