Job Description
Account Executive expanding Grand Canyon University's online education programs across Louisville-Lexington military communities. Building partnerships, generating inquiries, and counseling prospective students through enrollment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Louisville-Lexington, Kentucky territory in a military community-based opportunity
- Identify and implement event and activity plans for the territory
- Build awareness of Grand Canyon University's online academic programs in education, healthcare and business
- Drive inquiry generation and develop high-impact territory partnerships
- Deliver informational presentations and conduct calls and emails
- Provide counseling to prospective students, their families and partners through enrollment
- Promote the Grand Canyon Education mission, student success and institutional growth
- Support prospective students through the admissions process from application through completion of their first few classes
- Work independently and use critical thinking to guide students toward successful online learning experiences
Requirements:
- 3+ years of success in outside business development, consultative sales or account management
- Bachelor’s degree
- No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan; if in rehabilitation, credit report must show current payments
- Outstanding time management and prioritization skills
- Clear in-person, written and phone communication skills
- Well-developed listening skills
- Self-motivation and drive to succeed
- High emotional intelligence and ability to demonstrate empathy
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and flexible schedule
- Clean driving record and ability to use a personal vehicle
- Evening and/or weekend availability for some events
- Computer literacy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Relevant industry experience in enrollment, recruiting or counseling is a bonus
- Experience with CRM tools is a bonus
- Successful completion of pre-employment screening activities, including a background check
