Job Description
Account Manager nurturing APAC client relationships for In Marketing We Trust, a technical performance marketing agency. Driving retention, account growth, commercial performance, and delivery across SEO, PPC, analytics, and data projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture relationships with key clients in Australia and the APAC region
- Define, manage, and exceed client expectations throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Lead high-level client meetings, QBRs, and planning sessions
- Own escalations and drive resolution with delivery and leadership
- Own retention and renewal outcomes across a portfolio
- Identify and secure expansion opportunities, including new work streams and increased scope
- Monitor financial performance, recovery rate, scope changes, and commercial risk
- Coordinate with SEO, PPC, Analytics, and Data teams to shape strategies and ensure delivery alignment
- Supervise delivery across large accounts, ensuring SOWs, timelines, and reporting deliverables are met
- Act as 2IC to the Head of Client Services where relevant
- Support strategic planning and decision-making
- Coach and mentor junior Account Managers
- Deliver client retention, satisfaction, account growth, financial performance, and strong senior stakeholder relationships
Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional client relationship management experience
- Senior Account Management experience in a marketing agency; agency experience required
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including SEO and PPC
- Demonstrated experience leading client meetings, deep-dives, and WIPs
- Ability to manage 5–10 large projects simultaneously over 3+ months
- Strong problem-solving and risk-reduction skills
- Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder-management skills
- Must live and work in Australia with an AUS tax number for full-time employment; candidates outside Australia without an AUS tax registration number are engaged as contractors
- Must be within targeted APAC time zones/locations within ±3 hours of Sydney time
