Job Description
Associate Director of Partnerships managing Grok's business development for the Australian and New Zealand higher education sector. Collaborating closely with stakeholders to achieve sales targets and expand networks.
Responsibilities:
- Manage aspects of the global sales operation, including tracking key metrics, maintaining CRM systems, and using data to analyse the sales pipeline.
- Manage tender processes for new business in ANZ, lead internal coordination across the organisation to collect data and information, and craft compelling and persuasive content.
- Represent Grok at industry conferences and events relevant to the ANZ higher education sector to expand our network, identify leads, and build relationships with potential clients.
- Proactively identify and qualify potential leads through various channels, including events, conferences, research, and targeted outreach.
- Develop strong relationships with prospective clients in ANZ, gain a deep understanding of their needs, and strategically present Grok’s solutions to achieve positive outcomes for both Grok and the client.
- Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans to drive business growth within the ANZ market and achieve sales targets.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4-5 years of work experience in international student recruitment and/or a sales or business development role focused on the Australian or New Zealand higher education sector.
- Deep understanding of the ANZ higher education landscape, including a solid grounding in international student recruitment practices.
- A talent for fostering strong relationships with key decision-makers within the higher education sector.
- Demonstrated aptitude in synthesizing information and communicating a well-reasoned and thoughtful position in writing.
- Demonstrated aptitude in consultative selling, with a focus on listening to prospects, understanding their needs, and crafting tailored strategies that align with their goals.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills to effectively interact with clients, executive management, and other team members at Grok.
- Desire and willingness to be an integral part of a diverse, growing, and busy management team, contributing actively to the organization's success.
- Must have the legal right to work in Australia.
