Job Description
Commercial insurance business development executive expanding Jensten’s South West client portfolio. Winning mid-market clients through prospecting, networking, tailored risk solutions, and relationship management.
Responsibilities:
- Drive new business growth in the commercial sector
- Work from a prospect list and generate your own leads and opportunities, applying an entrepreneurial approach
- Leverage memberships with key organisations to network and build relationships
- Present tailored insurance and risk management solutions to secure new business
- Build strong, lasting relationships with clients virtually or in person
- Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal standards
- Develop mid-market commercial clients with £10k+ premiums across the South of the UK
- Manage the book independently or collaborate with dedicated handlers and the retention team
Requirements:
- Driven and experienced Commercial Insurance professional
- Proven experience in Commercial insurance sales and client management
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively
- Cert CII qualification or working towards it – desirable
- Experience with Acturis – desirable
- Must be located within a commutable distance of the South West region
- Ability to support regular client visits
- Ability to ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal standards
