Job Description
Business Development Representative responsible for educating the market about Apptega's cybersecurity solutions. Engaging prospects and managing sales activities in a fun startup environment.
Responsibilities:
- Get familiar with Apptega and the cybersecurity marketplace
- Learn about our target market and our customers
- Understand the problem we solve and our value proposition
- Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities
- Take our Sales Playbook and build your plan on attacking the marketplace
- Respond to inbound downloads and demo requests
- Qualify and schedule leads for demos and trials with Apptega Account Executives
- Manage a systematic approach for targeted prospect outreach using sales acceleration tools
- Conduct introductory meetings and help schedule demonstrations with qualified prospects
- Build confidence in messaging, sales pitch, and ability to demo Apptega
Requirements:
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, relevant degree program or equivalent experience
- Must be resilient and high-energy
- Ability to educate others on cybersecurity benefits
- Proficiency in many ways of communicating with people
