Job Description
Part-time associate supporting CCI, a perioperative nursing credentialing organization, through trade shows, sponsorships, lead qualification, and employer engagement. Maintaining HubSpot records and routing facility sales opportunities to business development leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Research, identify, and recommend relevant trade shows, conferences, and industry events aligned with company goals
- Coordinate event logistics including registration, travel, shipping, booth setup, promotional materials, vendor communications, event timelines, and inventory
- Represent the company on-site at events, engage prospects, promote products/services, and capture qualified leads
- Capture and qualify leads, especially facility sales opportunities, and hand them off to the Business Development & Sales Specialist
- Follow up with non-facility contacts post-event to nurture relationships and support pipeline development
- Track event ROI and prepare recap and post-event reports with key metrics and recommendations
- Reconcile event expenses, maintain event calendars, and ensure sponsor deliverables are completed
- Identify and evaluate sponsorship opportunities and prepare sponsorship proposals for internal approval
- Coordinate sponsorship agreements and deliverables with event organizers and ensure sponsor commitments are fulfilled
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective customers, sponsors, exhibitors, and industry partners
- Maintain accurate lead records in HubSpot to support handoffs and pipeline visibility
- Collaborate with marketing to develop event-specific collateral and promotional strategies
- Stay current on industry trends, competitors, and emerging event opportunities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum of one (1+) years of experience in sales, brand ambassador, business development, or event marketing
- Proven track record of generating leads, building relationships, and contributing to sales or revenue growth through business development activities
- Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to complete multiple work functions simultaneously and manage multiple events and deadlines
- Intermediate to expert ability in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable engaging with executives, partners, and prospects
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Willingness to travel for events as needed; estimated 30% travel, with potential to increase
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs for event logistics support
- Ability to stand for 4–6-hour periods
- HubSpot experience and/or certifications preferred
