Job Description

Business Development Representative at Trellis Research making high-volume outbound cold calls to open doors for sales. Engaging with prospective legal clients to introduce company solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct **high-volume outbound cold calls** to prospective customers daily
  • Qualify leads and schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Trellis’ products, value propositions, and target markets
  • Maintain accurate records of all outreach and activities in our CRM (HubSpot)
  • Consistently meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly activity and pipeline generation goals
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and prospecting strategies
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, legal tech innovations, and competitive landscape

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience in an outbound sales or lead generation role, preferably in SaaS, tech, or legal markets
  • Proven success and comfort with **__cold calling as a primary activity__**
  • Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with a high level of drive and resilience
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and embrace feedback
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot experience is a plus)
