Job Description

Business Development Representative in a remote role within the construction bidding marketplace. Contact potential General Contractors and develop relationships for business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Contact potential General Contractors (GC) through cold calls and emails.
  • Prospecting and lead qualification to sub-contractor is a good fit.
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
  • Schedule demos between (prospective) GC and GC CSM.
  • Educate, answer questions, and send resources to potential GC.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans.
  • Represent our company’s preconstruction solutions.
  • Provide regular reporting of prospecting, pipeline and forecast through HubSpot.
  • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues, and products.
  • Practice effective, excellent communication with management, customers, and support staff.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual department goals as well as KPI’s.

Requirements:

  • SaaS solutions - Construction space preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
  • Experience with HubSpot, preferred.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to work varying shifts (early morning / evenings) or split shifts
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • Working knowledge of current tech stack: RingCentral, GSuite, Zoom, preferred.
  • BS degree in Business Administration or relevant field preferred.
  • English/Spanish speaking, preferred.
