Job Description

Client Consulting Manager helping Visa, a global payments technology company, advise banking partners. Leading strategy projects, analytics, and scalable consulting solutions to drive portfolio growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage with Visa internal teams in regular strategic and planning discussions
  • Lead consulting initiatives and project teams for opportunities with bank partners
  • Develop frameworks, approaches, solutions, and recommendations addressing impactful client opportunities and challenges
  • Build solutions and measurable insights to help clients grow portfolios and customer engagement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and across global regional teams to execute projects using Visa resources
  • Produce insights, analyses, and recommendations to improve client performance and growth
  • Provide strategic mentorship for client priorities across verticals and segments
  • Manipulate and analyze large industry and Visa datasets to identify meaningful insights and client recommendations
  • Build scalable solutions, toolkits, standard methodology documents, and consulting approaches for the VCA practice

Requirements:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or at least 2 years with an Advanced degree, or 0 years with a PhD
  • Preferred: 6 or more years with a Bachelor's Degree, or 4 or more years with an Advanced Degree, or up to 3 years with a PhD
  • Preferred: 9 or more years with a Bachelor Degree, or 7 or more years with an Advanced Degree, or 3 or more years with a PhD
  • At least 4 years of experience in the strategy consulting industry
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Outstanding communication, storytelling, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in a matrixed organization
  • Experience managing a team
  • Prior experience at Big3 or other strategy consulting firms; Big4 advisory candidates welcome
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel modelling skills
  • Experience using financial indicators to measure business performance
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Knowledge of banking operations and/or payment schemes, including products and services, business systems and processes, marketing initiatives, and card issuing
  • Technologically savvy and up to date with digital trends and applications
