Job Description
Clinical Sales Associate supporting hospitals and surgical teams in adopting Intuitive’s robotic-assisted da Vinci Surgical System. Training clinicians, driving utilization, and supporting instrument sales.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the da Vinci Clinical Sales Representative to develop a clinical strategy to drive utilization of the da Vinci Surgical System
- Become a clinical expert across primary surgical specialties to support development of surgical items
- Support field efforts to achieve quarterly sales goals
- Support regional Sales and Marketing development events to create system awareness and procedure adoption
- Train and develop operating-room staff in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative system management
- Develop clinical plans enabling surgical teams to use the system independently
- Expand the user base by working with hospital staff and surgeon thought leaders to develop a qualified lead funnel
- Drive sales of instruments and accessories
- Manage administrative tasks, including reporting sales/procedure outcomes and submitting expense reports
- Identify high-potential surgical teams and conduct presentations to educate and persuade them to use the system
- Lead surgical teams through training on system operations, OR integration, and clinical applications
- Provide guidance on use of the da Vinci Surgical System
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
- Proven record of achievement and leadership
- Prior sales experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills and persuasive communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 50%, dependent upon account distribution
- Proven ability to work within and build teams
