Job Description

Corporate Account Director managing national alternate-site medical-device accounts for Integra LifeSciences. Driving distributor sales, margins, contracts, and strategic growth across New Jersey or Texas.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple alternate site “top” customers to achieve sales and marketing goals profitably
  • Develop quarterly sales objectives with each Corporate Account and update management monthly on Latest Revenue Estimates
  • Maximize contribution margin through pricing, expense, and organizational resource decisions
  • Prepare and present the National Business Plan covering all Corporate Accounts and maintain it routinely
  • Analyze monthly sales, marketing, and financial information against sales and margin goals
  • Plan, target, and close business opportunities with the National Sales Manager
  • Operate within defined budgets
  • Provide input and instruction to functions supporting distributor sales channel development
  • Manage corporate accounts using Sales Intelligence Tools, including Salesforce.com Automation and Sales EDW CUBE
  • Interface with corporate account sales and marketing management to review programs and sales results
  • Develop and launch monthly and quarterly promotional materials and distributor advertisements
  • Inform Sales and Marketing teams about competitive activities, industry trends, and product acceptance
  • Coordinate contract proposals with Integra Legal and Sales Departments
  • Build relationships with nationally recognized Alternate Site GPO organizations
  • Plan and coordinate distributor sales meetings, including National Sales Meetings
  • Participate in formulating and administering company policies and developing long-range goals and objectives
  • Drive the addition of new SKUs into distributor systems
  • Establish legal agreements with distributors defining each party’s obligations
  • Work with the Private Label Manager to develop relationships with appropriate Private Label decision makers
  • Review activity, cost, operations, and forecast analyses to assess progress toward goals and objectives
  • Represent the company at conventions and key distributor/customer gatherings
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, the Advamed Code of Conduct, and the Sunshine Act

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university or comparable industry experience
  • 5+ years of successful sales and distributor management in the medical device marketplace
  • 3+ years of sales management experience; preference given to candidates with management experience in a device company and distributor experience
  • Successful track record of aggressively growing an area with distributors and driving revenue year over year
  • Willingness to take responsibility for growing sales and be held accountable for Corporate Account goals
  • Top-level business management, interpersonal, and computer skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and polished presentation skills
  • Stable work history
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed, with a 40%+ travel time commitment
  • Must adhere to the Advamed Code of Conduct and the Sunshine Act
  • Must perform each essential duty satisfactorily
