Job Description

Director building eLocal’s B2B marketing function for its digital advertising and customer acquisition business. Developing campaigns, channel strategy, budget cases, sales enablement, and brand collateral for home services markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Build the B2B marketing function from scratch, defining strategy, structure, tools, and eventually the team
  • Own the marketing budget conversation by assessing channels, running tests, and recommending justified spend and expected returns
  • Develop the channel mix across paid, organic, event, partner, and content channels
  • Recommend industry conferences and trade shows, including participation level based on expected ROI
  • Design and run multi-channel B2B campaigns across LinkedIn, email, webinars, and other channels
  • Articulate eLocal’s Pay-Per-Lead/Call model to SMB owners and national marketing teams
  • Partner with sales to track performance from first touch through signed contract and inform investment decisions
  • Turn internal performance metrics into case studies, whitepapers, and success stories
  • Explore high-scale inbound campaigns using search and industry-specific trade platforms
  • Equip sales with decks and collateral tailored to local business owners and national marketing teams
  • Act as internal brand manager to maintain consistent collateral and creative

Requirements:

  • 8–10 years in B2B marketing, ideally with direct experience in home services, local services, or a related vertical
  • Experience building a marketing function from the ground up, or operating within a comparable competitor organization with strong understanding of budget, channel mix, and strategy
  • Ability to build data-backed business cases for marketing spend, defend recommendations, and adjust underperforming channels
  • Working knowledge of CPA and LTV
  • Ability to reach small business owners and corporate marketing managers
  • Ability to translate complex performance data into persuasive growth narratives
  • Sales-oriented mindset and persistence in gathering client success information
  • Proven ability to mentor a small team while remaining a player-coach
