Job Description
Director of Educational Partnerships generating strategic business relationships in K-12 education. Collaborating with public and non-public school entities to expand programs and services.
Responsibilities:
- Generate strategic business relationships and expand existing partnerships
- Work with US public and non-public school entities to grow new programs
- Collaborate with Sales Operations for target identification
- Develop and manage a sales plan to meet revenue and profit goals
- Lead development of proposals and RFP responses in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and community leaders
Requirements:
- Understand K-12 buying cycles
- Proven business development and sales skills
- At least five years of related experience in education and/or sales
- Track record of managing annual multimillion-dollar sales targets in K-12 industry
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Support the development and execution of regional sales plans
- Must be a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) power user
- Possess an intimate understanding of the state and federal legislation that generates and regulates public and nonpublic funding
- Support and develop relationships with public and nonpublic school leaders
- Experience with procuring business through RFPs.
