Job Description

Director of Product Partnerships at BillionToOne spearheading strategic collaborations in oncology diagnostics. Aiming to innovate and establish impactful partnerships with pharmaceutical organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively identify and engage pharmaceutical companies to build strategic partnerships for BillionToOne’s oncology product lines.
  • Negotiate and close partnership agreements that drive business growth and align with our strategic goals.
  • Represent BillionToOne at industry conferences and events to establish and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Clinical, and AI) to identify new product opportunities and validate their potential with pharmaceutical partners.
  • Act as the primary advocate for pharmaceutical customers, deeply understanding their needs and translating them into actionable product insights.
  • Partner with internal teams to co-develop solutions that address unmet needs in oncology diagnostics.
  • Work with Clinical and R&D teams to align on technical feasibility and ensure smooth execution of partnership projects.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to structure and finalize deal terms.
  • Maintain a feedback loop with internal stakeholders to iterate on product concepts and improve partnership success rates.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, product partnerships, or a related role in precision diagnostics or life sciences.
  • Proven track record of closing complex deals with pharmaceutical companies.
  • Strong understanding of oncology diagnostics and liquid biopsy technologies.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating scientific concepts into commercial opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for product innovation and customer success.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 25%) to engage partners and attend key industry events.
