Job Description
National education sales leader growing FloWater’s sustainable water solutions across K-12, higher education, and school districts. Building strategic partnerships and closing complex, multi-location opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies across K-12 schools, school districts, higher education, and other educational organizations
- Identify, prospect, and close high-value opportunities across schools, districts, multi-school systems, and multi-campus organizations
- Build relationships with superintendents, administrators, facilities leaders, procurement teams, sustainability leaders, and other decision-makers
- Navigate education purchasing processes, budgets, procurement requirements, district decision-making structures, and cooperative purchasing opportunities
- Expand strategic accounts across additional schools, campuses, departments, and districts
- Maintain pipeline health, manage opportunities through the sales process, and provide forecasting and reporting to sales leadership
- Develop strategic partnerships with organizations, associations, and partners
- Communicate FloWater’s value proposition and build business cases around sustainability, wellness, cost, and student and staff experience
- Provide education-market insights to shape broader go-to-market strategy
- Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, Operations, Finance, and Sales leadership through implementation and expansion
- Attend customer meetings, conferences, trade shows, and education-related events
- Share market insights and demonstrate ownership, energy, and urgency
Requirements:
- 7+ years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably selling into K-12, higher education, or public-sector organizations
- Experience leading, developing, and managing a high-performing team
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and developing new business
- Strong understanding of education purchasing, procurement, budgeting, and decision-making processes
- Ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and build relationships with senior decision-makers
- Strong strategic account planning, business development, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM skills
- Ability to develop strategic partnerships and identify district-wide and multi-location growth opportunities
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and confident with strong executive presence
- Passion for FloWater’s product, customers, mission, and improving hydration and sustainability in schools
- Willingness to travel nationally for customer meetings, conferences, trade shows, and education-focused events
- Must be within 60 miles of a major airport
