Job Description

Director of Strategic Account Management overseeing oncology accounts in the Mid-Atlantic region. Driving strategic engagement and collaboration to position Takeda Oncology as a preferred partner.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute account level business plans for targeted GPO member accounts
  • Identify contacts and key GPO stakeholders
  • Lead activities of cross-functional partners within targeted accounts
  • Provide guidance and assistance relative to company-wide and franchise specific opportunities
  • Leverage methods to gather understanding of integrated customer accounts
  • Assess key assigned regional and national oncology GPO clients
  • Identify new customers impacting Takeda business
  • Build positive relationships with specified customers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, marketing or related field
  • 10+ years industry experience
  • 2+ years experience with responsibility for Oncology Network Accounts/IDNs or specialty GPO accounts
  • 2+ years prior experience as an Oncology Field Sales leader
  • 3+ years focused account management knowledge of oncology marketplace
  • Strong customer orientation and account management expertise
  • Resourceful with strong networking skills
  • Value and access B2B experience desired
  • Ability to work collaboratively and lead cross-functional teams
