Job Description
Providing expert employee relations advice at BMO while ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations. Supporting employee relations initiatives and developing solutions aligned with business strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Provides expert employee relations advice and governance to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Supports employee relations programs and initiatives, including acquisitions and transitions.
- Develops employee relations solutions based on business strategy.
- Educates managers on Labor Relations management and HR policies.
- Investigates employee complaints and recommends solutions.
- Builds relationships with internal/external stakeholders and monitors program performance.
Requirements:
- Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience
- Post-secondary degree in related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Law degree preferred
- Appropriate HR designation preferred
- Bilingualism is an asset
- Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience
- In-depth verbal & written communication skills

- In-depth influence skills
- In-depth data driven decision making
