Job Description
Senior HR Operations Manager leading global employee operations for BJAK, Southeast Asia’s online insurance platform. Building scalable HR processes, systems, payroll coordination, and compliance across multiple countries.
Responsibilities:
- Lead HR Operations for BJAK's global team
- Own the operational foundation supporting employees across multiple countries
- Own HR operations across the global employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and offboarding
- Build and improve HR processes, policies, and SOPs that can scale across multiple countries
- Oversee global HR systems, employee records, reporting, and data governance
- Manage payroll coordination, benefits administration, employment documentation, and statutory compliance with local partners and EOR providers where applicable
- Ensure HR operations remain accurate, compliant, and audit-ready across all locations
- Improve operational efficiency through process redesign, automation, and system improvements
- Lead and develop the HR Operations function while partnering with leadership to support global expansion
- Complete the interview process involving an online assessment or practical task, role-specific interview, and CEO/final round
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in HR Operations, People Operations, or HR Administration
- Experience supporting employees across multiple countries or regions
- Strong understanding of global HR operations, employment documentation, payroll coordination, HR systems, and compliance
- Experience building and improving HR processes in a fast-growing company
- Strong operational mindset with high attention to detail
- Comfortable balancing hands-on execution with process improvement
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work across different countries, cultures, and time zones
- Strong English communication is required
