Job Description
HR Director owning benefits, payroll, HRIS, and people strategy for FlexScreen/RiteScreen, the largest independent screen manufacturer in the US. Leading multi-state compliance and HR Managers remotely across nine facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Own total rewards, including benefits plan design, broker and carrier relationships, open enrollment, and compliance
- Govern multi-state payroll through ADP, including controls, tax compliance, audits, escalations, and payroll accuracy
- Administer, optimize, enhance, and safeguard the HRIS and employee records through ADP Workforce Now
- Shape workforce planning, compensation philosophy, policy architecture, and organizational design
- Partner directly with the CHRO and executive leadership during company growth and integration
- Lead and develop HR Managers across company sites
- Maintain compliance across employment laws in seven states, including California
- Travel approximately 30% across nine facilities
Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience
- Genuine leadership experience
- Experience supporting organizations of 500+ employees across multiple shifts
- Manufacturing or hourly-workforce experience
- Expertise in benefits, payroll, and HR strategy
- Experience with open enrollment and benefits renewals
- Experience with multi-state payroll oversight and tax compliance
- ADP Workforce Now fluency strongly preferred
- SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CEBS, or CPP respected
- Ability to manage employment-law compliance across seven states, including California
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% across nine facilities
