Job Description
Energy Efficiency Key Account Manager promoting Save On Energy Business Retrofit Program to commercial accounts in Ontario with a focus on energy-saving initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for promoting the Save On Energy Business Retrofit Program to secure Program participation in assigned commercial and industrial accounts
- Help customers identify energy saving opportunities, align with Program rules, and achieve incentives for energy-saving retrofits
- Provide technical support and guidance through energy savings initiatives
- Engage and develop local trade ally networks for promoting and securing participation in the Program
- Identify and develop energy-saving projects with customers, key accounts, and trade allies
- Build and execute strategic account plans, managing multi-level relationships
- Support Save On Energy Retrofit incentive applications, ensuring technical, economic, and eligibility requirements are met
- Prepare and deliver tailored presentations and proposals
- Attend industry events and perform additional duties as needed
Requirements:
- 5+ years in commercial energy efficiency
- Technical degree (3-4 years) or equivalent experience in energy efficiency
- Preferred designations: P.Eng, B.Eng, B.Sc., CEM, and/or CET
- Strong influence and negotiation skills
- Passionate advocate for energy efficiency, focused on technology solutions
- Proven record in achieving energy savings targets
- Excellent communication and customer service skills; effective with all management levels and external contacts
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Industrial service experience with a focus on growth and customer service; engineering services background preferred.
