Job Description

Head of HR building scalable people systems, performance frameworks, and talent strategies for High Scale, a global high-volume advertising content agency. Partnering with executives to drive growth and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate existing HR operations and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability
  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR policies, SOPs, and standardized workflows across the employee lifecycle
  • Establish structured processes for onboarding, employee development, performance reviews, promotions, compensation reviews, and offboarding
  • Implement HR systems and automation tools to reduce administrative work and improve operational efficiency
  • Ensure HR practices support organizational growth and comply with applicable employment laws and regulations
  • Design and implement company-wide performance management frameworks connecting individual contributions to organizational objectives
  • Establish KPIs, measurable expectations, accountability systems, regular evaluations, feedback mechanisms, and performance improvement plans
  • Develop recruitment strategies and oversee recruitment operations, candidate pipelines, candidate experience, recruiting KPIs, and employer branding
  • Develop employee engagement, feedback, survey, retention, career progression, and professional development initiatives
  • Partner with executive leadership on organizational structures, succession planning, leadership development, change initiatives, and employee alignment
  • Coach managers on leadership, performance management, employee development, and conflict resolution
  • Develop HR dashboards and reporting systems; track turnover, retention, recruitment efficiency, absenteeism, and engagement
  • Analyze workforce data and translate HR insights into actionable strategies
  • Establish regular reporting and review processes with executive leadership

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience
  • At least 3 years in an HR leadership or management position
  • Experience leading HR operations, developing people strategies, and implementing systems that support organizational growth
  • Experience in BPO, shared services, professional services, or high-growth organizations highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and HR compliance
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing KPI frameworks, employee performance management systems, and HR operational processes
  • Comfort using workforce analytics and business metrics to guide decision-making
  • Experience with HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, performance management software, and workflow automation tools highly valued
  • Knowledge of organizational development, continuous improvement, and change management methodologies is a strong advantage
  • Ability to communicate confidently with executives, department heads, managers, and employees at every level
  • Ability to navigate challenging conversations, resolve conflicts, and build trust while maintaining accountability
  • Ability to balance employee advocacy with business priorities
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and make decisions in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong understanding of how people decisions affect productivity, operational efficiency, profitability, and long-term business growth
