Job Description

Inside Account Manager driving revenue growth and managing accounts for technology sales to California clients. Fully remote with flexible engagement options in a performance-driven team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage & Grow Assigned Accounts
  • Serve as the primary inside contact for assigned California clients
  • Maintain consistent communication with IT leaders and procurement teams
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts
  • Partner with outside Account Executives on territory strategy
  • Drive Revenue & Sales Execution
  • Prepare quotes and proposals aligned with client needs
  • Follow up on active opportunities to move deals toward closure
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting
  • Meet assigned revenue and margin goals
  • Collaborate with distributors and manufacturers on pricing requests
  • Support RFP responses, bids, and compliance documentation
  • Ensure timely and accurate quote turnaround
  • Maintain CRM accuracy and account documentation
  • Coordinate order processing and internal communication
  • Support overall client satisfaction and retention

Requirements:

  • 3–5+ years of sales or account management experience
  • Experience in technology sales (networking, infrastructure, IP, data, or related field preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Experience supporting California SLED or K–12 accounts (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Cisco, HPE-Aruba, Extreme Networks, or similar enterprise platforms (preferred)
  • Knowledge of public sector procurement processes (preferred)
