Job Description
Bilingual inside sales associate growing IDEXX veterinary diagnostic revenue for Canadian practices. Supporting customer loyalty, product utilization, and sales pipeline growth remotely from the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Present IDEXX's values to customers professionally, including understanding the veterinary industry, practices, customers, technology, operations, and processes
- Use a consultative selling approach to help veterinary practices grow diagnostic revenue with IDEXX
- Discover customer needs, make recommendations, and generate leads and opportunities within the existing customer base
- Increase territory revenue and product utilization
- Build customer loyalty through effective use of IDEXX in-house diagnostic solutions, rapid assays, and reference laboratory testing
- Collaborate with field sales colleagues to increase diagnostic utilization and year-over-year regional revenue growth
- Engage customers through knowledgeable phone interactions, business discussions, and educational opportunities
- Use Salesforce.com to maintain accurate customer profiles and interactions
- Support French-speaking veterinary customers across Canada
Requirements:
- Fluent in both French, preferably Quebecois French, and English
- 1–2 years of basic experience in direct telephone or face-to-face sales
- Diagnostic sales preferred
- Previous experience managing a sales pipeline highly preferred
- Highly motivated and goal-oriented while working collaboratively within a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build strong customer and peer partnerships and gain confidence and trust
- Ability to plan and prioritize work in a dynamic environment and make quality, timely decisions
- Effective listening skills to discover customer needs and adapt approach and demeanor
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Understanding of the veterinary diagnostic market and experience in healthcare or scientific industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in a business or scientific discipline is a plus
