Job Description

Key Account Manager handling Edeka accounts, driving revenue and market share in Germany. Collaborating closely with the Group Key Account Management for strategic development and execution of sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for sales, volume, profit and market share results.
  • Forecast planning (monthly, quarterly, yearly) and active performance management.
  • Development and implementation of customer-specific strategies (3-year plan).
  • Preparation and execution of Customer Business Planning.
  • Creation of reports and execution of complex customer and market analyses.
  • Preparation, conduct and follow-up of annual business review meetings.
  • First point of contact for all operational customer matters.
  • Development and implementation of assortment, merchandising and promotional activities.
  • Alignment and coordination of sales activities with the Field Force.
  • Independent management of customer-specific projects for business development.
  • Ensuring product availability in collaboration with the Supply Chain.
  • Identification and realization of sales and profitability potentials.

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience in food retail, ideally within a consumer goods company.
  • Excellent knowledge of the market, the retail sector and the competitive environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking and solid numerical skills.
  • Confident user of MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Process understanding in Category Management, Shopper/Trade Marketing and Logistics.
  • Structured and reliable working style.
  • Strong performance and customer orientation.
  • High level of commitment and a proactive personality.
  • Very good written and spoken English.
