Job Description

Territory Sales Rep for Law Enforcement supporting the South-Central US channel. Focused on sales of firearms, ammunition, and outdoor products.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve established sales and business objectives in assigned territory
  • Support all existing direct accounts through regular account contact and visits
  • Prospect possible new accounts
  • Create, develop, and maintain positive business relationships with existing and potential customers, and Kinetic Group personnel
  • Assist in developing long-range strategies designed to meet growth objectives
  • Develop, organize, and execute effective sales presentations, promotions, and events within the territory to include LE Wound Ballistic Workshops to state and local agencies (at least 5 per calendar year)
  • Respond to customer issues and concerns according to established company policy
  • Provide solutions to ensure issues are satisfactorily resolved
  • Provide market intelligence, including competitive analysis, to sales management and participate in the development of sales forecasts and strategies
  • Attend as required, and actively contribute to sales meetings, training programs, trade shows, and other activities as assigned
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records relating to sales performance, planning, account information, reporting, business expenditures, etc., as required by established procedures, or as otherwise requested
  • Operate within expense budget
  • Perform other related duties including special projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • BS, BA in Business or related field (MA/MS preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years Channel Sales experience in the outdoor products industry (preferred); Law Enforcement channel of trade
  • Experience in the hunting, shooting or sporting goods industry- law enforcement and/or military experience
  • Attention to detail, analytic capabilities, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Sound leadership, communication, organization, and business math skills
  • Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision
  • Honesty, Integrity, Professionalism, Self-Motivation, and Strong Work Ethic
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Must live within territory – up to 70% travel required, including weekends
