Job Description
Lead US Payer Strategy for Chiesi's Rare portfolio, collaborating on marketing and access efforts. Drive innovative solutions to ensure patient access to life-changing treatments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of Access and HEOR strategy
- Develop tactical initiatives for the assigned Rare portfolio
- Collaborate closely with the brand marketing teams and other cross functional partners
- Support Market Access team operations, including budgets, forecasts, payer/coverage data analysis, and project management
- Monitor spend and manage assigned payer marketing budget for brands
- Lead engagement with creative agency partner(s) for assigned portfolio
- Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure brand access messages are conveyed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10 years progressive experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry across key functions such as marketing, market access, contracting, commercial operations, and data analytics
- At least 5 years directly within market access or HEOR
- Good understanding of payer segments (Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare Part D & B, etc.), reimbursement, and Specialty Pharmacy data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize data and deliver a clear overview of Market Access insights
- Strong analytical (qualitative and quantitative), strategic thinking, creativity & problem-solving skills
- Self-directed and confident, with ability to contribute to shared commitment and goals to achieve high standards of performance
- Well organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high attention to detail
- Demonstrated success with project management
- Demonstrated understanding of the current US payer environment and Market Access dynamics required
- History of success in developing market access tactics for use with US payers
