Job Description
Marketing expert designing grading criteria and scoring AI-generated marketing work for Mercor’s frontier AI training projects. Providing rigorous written evaluations of creative and brand deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Define what excellent real-world marketing work looks like for AI evaluation
- Design precise, task-specific grading criteria for creative briefs, campaign concepts and decks, brand positioning and messaging frameworks, ad copy and scripts, integrated campaign plans, and client-ready presentations
- Score AI-generated and human work samples against grading criteria
- Provide detailed written justifications for every score
- Apply consistent, evidence-based judgment so scores are reproducible and defensible
- Incorporate structured feedback from senior reviewers
- Iterate quickly on evaluation work
- Contribute marketing expertise to projects training and enhancing AI systems
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in marketing or advertising
- Background as a creative director, account lead, or brand strategist at top-tier global creative agencies, or in senior brand marketing roles at leading consumer companies
- Deep fluency in writing and evaluating creative briefs
- Experience with campaign development across channels
- Experience with brand positioning and messaging
- Ability to judge creative work against a brief and business objective
- Exceptionally strong written communication and ability to explain why work does or does not meet the bar
- Detail-oriented, consistent, and comfortable having judgment reviewed and calibrated against peers
- Prior experience with AI training, evaluation, or human-data projects is a strong plus
- No specialized media-planning or measurement background is required
- Independent contractor engagement
- Must not require H1-B or STEM OPT support
