Job Description

MarTech Integration Specialist at S&P Global specializing in marketing technology integrations. Responsible for ensuring data flow and system stability across marketing platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Integration & System Architecture Connect the Dots: Design, build, and maintain integrations between core systems (CRM, Marketing Automation, CDP, Ad Platforms, and Data Warehouses).
  • Partner with the Web & Digital Asset Platform Specialist to integrate CMS data and events into downstream systems.
  • Marketing & Marketing Ops Partnership: Collaborate with Marketing stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical designs that support scalable campaigns using tools like Marketo, Qualified, ON24, and Cvent.
  • API & Middleware Management: Implement and manage API-based integrations (REST/SOAP), webhooks, Marketo Launchpad and iPaaS workflows (e.g., Workato, Zapier).
  • Lead Routing: Technical ownership of lead routing processes: routing, enrichment, scoring, and the handoff SLAs between Marketing and Sales (Marketo & SFDC).
  • Unified Customer View: Implement identity resolution (user IDs, anonymous vs. known) to ensure a 360-degree view of the customer across CMS properties and warehouse backend systems.
  • Commercial Platforms COE Collaboration: Partner with Data Engineering to develop ETL/ELT pipelines for customer data, ensuring reliability and clear runbooks.
  • Troubleshooting & Quality: Troubleshoot integration-related data issues across CRM, MAP, and Analytics, driving root-cause fixes for data hygiene or data mapping issues.
  • System Audits: Conduct regular MarTech audits to check the health of current tools, identify integration gaps, and optimize the stack.
  • Documentation: Own the "Source of Truth" documentation, including integration architecture diagrams, data dictionaries, and field maps.
  • Privacy & Compliance: Collaborate with Data Governance COE to ensure integrations respect consent signals and data handling standards (PII, GDPR etc).

Requirements:

  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Marketing Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ Years of experience in Marketing Operations or MarTech Engineering
  • Technical Proficiency Hands-on experience integrating Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) with downstream marketing and CRM platforms
  • API Mastery: Deep experience with OAuth2, token-based auth, rate limits, and pagination.
  • Data Literacy: Solid SQL skills and comfort working with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift).
  • Stack Experience: 5+ years of experience integrating at least two of the following: CMS: Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) & Marketo forms CRM/MAP: Salesforce & Marketo. Customer data and behavioral data platforms (e.g., Woopra) as integration endpoints. iPaaS: Workato, MuleSoft, or Zapier.
  • Operational & Analytical Mindset Systems Thinking: Ability to see how a change in one tool impacts the entire ecosystem.
  • Communication: Ability to explain technical "plumbing" to non-technical marketing partners in terms of business value and customer insight.
  • Structured Delivery: Comfortable working in sprint-based environments with a focus on QA/UAT and post-release monitoring.
