Job Description

Medical Receptionist managing patient communication and operations for a naturopathic healthcare clinic. Providing empathetic support and maintaining documentation in a remote role.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound patient phone communications professionally and empathetically
  • Guide patients through intake processes and follow-up communications
  • Collect and organize required documentation and patient information
  • Update and maintain electronic health records accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate and communicate with healthcare providers regarding patient matters
  • Perform backend administrative tasks to support clinic operations
  • Ensure patient inquiries are resolved promptly and thoroughly
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions

Requirements:

  • Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken
  • Clear communication skills for phone interactions
  • Experience in administrative or receptionist roles
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • High level of empathy and professionalism
  • Proactive attitude and solution-oriented mindset
  • Previous experience in healthcare or medical administrative roles preferred
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
  • Experience managing patient communications and documentation
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong attention to detail
