Job Description
People Operations Coordinator supporting employee lifecycle operations at Relocity, an AI-powered global mobility platform. Coordinating HRIS, payroll, onboarding, compliance, and employee engagement across distributed teams.
Responsibilities:
- Report to the HR Manager and provide operational support across the employee lifecycle
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding across the US, Canada, EMEA, and APAC, including document collection, background checks, right-to-work verification, and system provisioning
- Coordinate employee changes with payroll, including new hires, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and terminations
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files and HRIS records
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions about policies, procedures, people programs, leave, and benefits
- Support compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations
- Compile people data, generate reports, and respond to information requests
- Draft and maintain HR documentation, process guides, and internal employee communications
- Assist with performance review cycles, engagement surveys, compliance training, employee engagement, and recognition initiatives
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in People Operations, HR coordination, HR administration, or a similar role
- Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems, with demonstrated proficiency maintaining accurate employee data
- Direct experience supporting an hourly, distributed, or field-based workforce
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to independently manage multiple priorities
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information with discretion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working in a remote, technology-enabled environment
- Exposure to employment practices across two or more of the following markets is preferred: US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Germany, and Singapore
- Demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly, including HRIS, applicant tracking, and workflow tools. Experience with Airtable is a plus.
