Job Description
Procurement manager overseeing carrier relationships and networking equipment sourcing across North Asia. Supporting Zenlayer’s global software-defined network and data center operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage carrier relationships across North Asia, including Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for networking equipment and accessories
- Partner with internal business units on upcoming and long-term projects
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly P&L management reports
- Monitor and optimize inventory management, including stock levels, inventory amortization, and storage cost control
- Build and expand vendor channels, including vendor due diligence and commercial cost negotiations
- Identify operational process gaps and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with company standards, internal controls, and operational procedures
- Establish and optimize team organizational structure to support business growth
- Maintain customer and partner relationships within the global networking ecosystem
- Perform other tasks as deemed appropriate by the Director
Requirements:
- Bilingual English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking, listening) is preferred
- Experience in the telecom, data center, or cloud industry
- Degree in business administration, inventory management, finance, or a related field
- 8 years of related working experience in similar roles
- Excellent computer skills
- Well organized, detail oriented, and responsible
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Open to being based in Hong Kong, Korea, or Japan
