Job Description

Project Manager coordinating software releases for mortgage industry clients and collaborating with development teams. Leading project management efforts to achieve high-quality software deployment.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate software releases in partnership with product and infrastructure teams, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to track release progress, identify dependencies, and manage risks.
  • Conduct Release Readiness Reviews, Milestones reviews, and Go/No-Go reviews.
  • Review deployment plans, rollback plans, resource plans, and communication plans.
  • Participate and coordinate the Go live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists.
  • Conduct RCA analysis on Release related issues.
  • Ensure onboarding and training documents are kept up to date.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and automating release processes, reporting, and monitoring using AI/ML tools or scripting.
  • Coordination with Vendor support teams during planning and execution windows.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of professional experience as part of a software development team or in a release management role, including relevant internships.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles (SDLC) and release management processes.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and mitigate risks and issues during the release process.
  • Experience with release management or project management tools like JIRA and ServiceNow.
