Job Description
Regional Director leading a team to execute GSK's oncology strategy across health systems and oncology accounts. Coaching and developing team while driving market-leading growth and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- As Regional Director, Oncology Strategic Accounts, you will lead a team of regional Strategic Oncology Account Directors who shape and execute GSK’s oncology strategy across health systems, cancer centers, and community oncology accounts.
- You will be accountable for coaching and developing your team to influence clinical and economic decision makers, ensuring integrated brand, access, and account strategies that deliver market-leading growth.
- You will lead all regional oncology strategic account activities in decision making, account planning, access strategy pull-through, and population-based decision maker engagement.
- You will initiate, develop, and support the implementation of opportunities for company expansion in oncology, support brand volume and market share targets, demonstrate a strong focus on account and region performance and long-term opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years leading/managing a team
- 8+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech commercial roles
- 4+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech commercial roles working in Oncology Account management experience in complex settings (e.g., Academic, IDN Accounts, or Community Provider Networks) at the enterprise (C/D suite) level
- Experience in solid tumor and/or hematologic malignancy therapeutic areas
- Familiarity with community oncology practice management, GPO relationships and oncology group purchasing dynamics
- Experience working with oncology care models, value-based contracts, or risk-bearing provider groups
- Prior cross-functional roles in Market Access, Sales Leadership, Medical Affairs, or HEOR
- Demonstrated clinical fluency including the ability to discuss oncology clinical trial data, pathology, biomarker testing, and treatment algorithms with key stakeholders
- Economic acumen including a working knowledge of oncology reimbursement, 340B program, GPO contracting, buy-and-bill, and specialty pharmacy dynamics
- Experience supporting or leading a pharmaceutical oncolytic product launch
- Experience using MS Office Suite, Veeva CRM, and Power BI or equivalent analytics platforms
