Job Description

Contracts Manager overseeing clinical-trial agreements for ICON, a global healthcare intelligence and research organisation. Negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance, and supporting project teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee contract management workstreams, ensuring deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations
  • Manage the end-to-end contracts process, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with legal, finance, and project management departments to align contract terms and conditions
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams on contract-related matters, including contract interpretation and dispute resolution
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of contract activities in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Develop the contracts management team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, communications, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contracts management, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research industry
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, legal principles, and regulatory requirements relevant to clinical trials
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of managing multiple contracts and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel as required (approximately 10%)
  • Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
