Job Description
Regional Technical Sales Manager growing ProcessBarron’s industrial equipment and services business across the Northeast. Managing the full sales cycle, customer solutions, projects, and post-project support.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Manage the complete sales process from prospecting and quoting through contract review, project execution support, and post-project follow-up
- Understand ProcessBarron's products, services, and capabilities
- Provide cost-effective technical solutions involving equipment, services, and replacement parts
- Submit and track RFQs through internal systems and processes
- Monitor proposal and contract activity and follow up with customers
- Track contract awards and sales performance metrics, including win/loss activity
- Coordinate with Operations, Field Services, and Safety teams to support project execution
- Monitor active projects for customer satisfaction and timely completion
- Manage project changes and change-order opportunities
- Support post-completion customer needs, including deliverables, outage reports, and billing inquiries
- Collaborate with Sales Representatives and support ongoing sales initiatives
- Maintain awareness of customer outage schedules and business needs
- Submit expense reports in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel approximately 50%
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience serving industrial customers in Waste-to-Energy, Cement, Biomass, and/or Pulp & Paper industries
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Ability to access customer site locations safely
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and climb ladders and stairs
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor industrial environments
- Ability to tolerate heat, cold, noise, vibration, dust, fumes, and other industrial conditions
- Ability to perform physical activities including standing, walking, sitting, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, hearing, seeing, and communicating effectively
- Preferred: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field
- Preferred experience as a Maintenance Manager, Reliability Engineer, Planner, Project Manager, Plant Engineer, or Marine Engineer
- Familiarity with ProcessBarron products and services is preferred
