Job Description

Remote Sales Executive growing independent pharmacy accounts, customer retention, and generic-drug sales for Cencora. Negotiating contracts and expanding customers through Cencora’s pharmacy solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales and accounts within assigned territories across existing primary and secondary customers
  • Sell Cencora products and solutions
  • Retain customers and ensure contract compliance
  • Negotiate contracts and Prime Vendor Agreements with current customers
  • Implement new Prime Vendor Agreements
  • Implement solutions for customers
  • Drive generic sales and recapture generic leakage within targeted accounts
  • Monitor and analyze reports and data to measure PRxO generics profitability growth
  • Develop and implement strategies to sustain generic sales growth
  • Meet or exceed revenue, profit, margin, sales, and activity targets
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers in the CSP Bronze segment and support renewals
  • Grow existing accounts into CSP Silver/Priority/Hi-Po segments and transition them to the field sales team when appropriate
  • Sell Cencora solutions including Good Neighbor Pharmacy, Business Coaching, PRxO Generics, and Elevate Provider Network
  • Achieve monthly call volume, conversion, order volume, and revenue goals
  • Expand secondary customers into primary customers using Cencora’s Suite of Offerings
  • Provide high-level customer service and continuously advance product, industry, and professional knowledge
  • Report to and work in cooperation with the District Director and department manager

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated history of successfully applying consultative selling skills in a diverse customer marketplace resulting in improved customer sales
  • Four-year bachelor’s degree in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocation, or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • 5+ years of directly related and progressively responsible sales experience
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, retail, and alternate care segments is desirable
  • Working knowledge of retail and alternate care industries, trends, and customer challenges
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt communication style to various audiences
  • Ability to actively listen and influence others with different points of view
  • Strong organizational agility and ability to work across internal teams
  • Ability to travel to visit customers as needed
  • Willingness to travel to conferences, national sales meetings, and district sales meetings
