Job Description

Upwork Sales / SDR responsible for managing client communication and closing deals on Upwork. Own performance of Upwork profiles and improve their effectiveness as revenue assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all incoming client responses on assigned Upwork profiles
  • Maintain fast and consistent response times
  • Qualify leads via chat and calls
  • Conduct discovery calls with potential clients
  • Shape scope, budget ranges, and next steps
  • Close deals or move leads into structured follow-ups
  • Own the performance of assigned Upwork profiles
  • Monitor profile metrics (views, invitations, response rate, lead quality)
  • Initiate and collect client reviews
  • Maintain accurate deal stages in CRM (Pipedrive)

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales management, ideally within software development company (B2B).
  • Strong understanding of the full sales cycle, CRM, and lead qualification.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Results-oriented with a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to coach and develop a sales team for high performance.
  • English fluency (С1), both written and spoken.
