Job Description
Sales Planning Analyst responsible for analyzing sales data and establishing quota distribution. Involved in sales compensation process in a remote setting.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze sales data and industry best practices
- Lead the annual sales compensation planning and design process
- Partner with sales leadership to develop targets and quotas
- Lead efforts to establish and cascade quotas
- Operate as trusted advisor on issues and trends
- Act as primary expert for market trends and competitive practices
- Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of current sales incentive programs
- Drive the automation of sales planning
- Mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Two or more years of experience in the sales compensation field
- Strong understanding of sales compensation and planning benchmarks
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Strong collaboration skills
- Strong leadership, sound judgement, and business acumen skills
- Strong data gathering, interviewing, and analytical/problem solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects to completion with minimal oversight
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Demonstrated ability to influence, motivate and mobilize team members and business partners
