Job Description

Senior Business Development Manager supporting federal health customers in a strategic role to grow key accounts. Ensures excellence in business development for the Health IT portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Support to federal health customers
  • Responsible for growth of current key/strategic Federal Civilian (Health IT) customer accounts
  • Ensure excellence in delivery of full life cycle business development activities
  • Customer relationship management and account management
  • Target identification and development of capture and solution strategies
  • Partner with the Business Area Growth leader and Division Manager for effective collaboration
  • Advise on call plans for key customers and programs
  • Provide leadership in new business matters including strategic planning, competitive intelligence, and market analysis
  • Participate in senior line and business development pipeline-pursuit reviews

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12+ years of related experience
  • Demonstrated track-record of a high new business win history
  • Experience in executing successful large-scale Business Development activities in federal government contracting work
  • Reputation for being able to build high performance teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Ten or more years of related recent experience with a track-record of closing deals with Health customers
  • Strong partnerships in the partner ecosystem
  • Demonstrated ability and reputation of winning complex captures with values over $100M
  • Portfolio of submittals and awards including experience in all types of government contracts
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills for interactions with technical leaders and business executives
