Job Description

Senior Client Manager serving high-net-worth insurance clients for a private client services agency. Managing renewals, coverage analysis, marketing, proposals, client retention, and staff mentorship.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster and manage overall client relationships, ensuring business retention and high satisfaction
  • Develop new business opportunities for existing clients and prospects
  • Initiate renewals and create renewal strategies
  • Analyze exposures and develop renewal or new business specifications for marketing
  • Conduct marketing, negotiate rates, and review quotes and coverages
  • Review policies, determine appropriate coverage, and identify deficiencies
  • Review marketing results and prepare proposals
  • Finalize proposals and presentations
  • Bind insurance coverage and prepare binders or delegate certificate issuance
  • Review policies and contracts for accuracy
  • Prepare coverage summaries and schedules for clients
  • Review accounting history, resolve discrepancies, and contact clients regarding receivable collections
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to staff
  • Participate in the claims process as directed
  • Notify the Producer of information related to client retention
  • Collect fees and reconcile outstanding balances within 90 days of invoicing
  • Maintain complete and accurate agency management system data
  • Perform other assigned duties

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five (5) or more years of related work experience in Private Client/High Net-Worth insurance
  • Valid insurance license
  • Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of a wide array of private client customizable coverages
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good problem-solving and time-management skills
  • Good planning, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build trust and de-escalate concerns
  • Ability to work within a team and foster teamwork
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
